About This Dog

Diesel's ideal home

Diesel has started the search for his new home, and is looking for a new family who understand his classic Beagle traits – he loves a sniffy walk and he loves his (and your) food! This friendly boy can live with secondary school aged children as he doesn’t have many boundaries when it comes to attention, so children in the home must be comfortable with his wanting to be close by. Diesel doesn’t enjoy other dogs in his face too much, so wouldn’t be able to share his home with another dog, but could have calm walking friends to meet up with. He is a very good boy in the home, he is happy being left during the day whilst his foster carers pop out, and lets you know when he needs to go out to the toilet. He is a typical Beagle and can be a bit of a food thief, and will steal food if given a chance, so adopters must be mindful of this and not leave food around unsupervised that he could get his paws on! Diesel will need to meet his adopters a couple of times prior to going home so please bear all of this in mind when applying. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes up to 7 days, and potential adopters would be required to come up to the centre to meet him within 48hrs of being shortlisted.

Could you be Diesel's perfect match?

Meet social butterfly Diesel! This 9 year old Beagle definitely doesn’t act his age, he is still full of beans and loves nothing more than jumping in the car to go on fun new adventures. This handsome gent just adores attention, if he can sit on your lap, he will do! And don’t even think about stopping fusses, as he will paw at you for more. Could you be Diesels new best friend?
