About This Dog

Ronnie's ideal home

Ronnie is a wonderful 7-year-old lad looking for his forever home. He’s affectionate once he knows you and has been making great progress with his confidence, now able to enjoy calm walking buddies. Ronnie needs to be the only pet in an adult-only home, as he can feel worried around strangers and may be reactive towards dogs on walks. He’ll need continued car-travel training, plenty of mental and physical stimulation, and a secure garden to relax in. His new family should be around most of the time at first and build up any time left alone slowly. Potential adopters must live close to the centre for multiple meets and home visits. Ronnie isn’t keen on the vet but is muzzle trained, and our Training and Behaviour team will support his new family.

Could you be Ronnie's perfect match?

Ronnie is a lovely boy who adores getting out and about for adventures. He would benefit most from a quiet location where he won’t have to meet lots of strangers on his daily walks. Beagle experience would be an advantage to help understand his breed traits, including his typical beagle-style vocal nature. Once you get to know Ronnie, he is super fun and full of character. He’ll make a fantastic addition to the right family — apply today to see if you’re a match!
