About This Dog for Adoption

Mulligan's ideal home

Meet Mulligan, our cheeky and charming hound! He’s a happy soul, always brimming with fun and mischief. As he came to us with very little background, we’re not sure if he’s ever lived in a home before. For this reason, Mulligan is looking for patient adopters who can help guide him through all the basics such as housetraining and learning to settle when left alone, which should be introduced gradually once he’s comfortable.

Full of energy and spirit, Mulligan loves to keep busy, with his houndy nose leading the way into every new adventure. He’s a friendly lad, though his bouncy, excitable nature means he’d be best suited to confident children aged 6 and over. Out on walks, Mulligan is a social butterfly who enjoys meeting other dogs and can be very playful. He may be able to share his new home with a dog who matches his lively playstyle.

As a true hound, following his nose is his favourite pastime, so his new family will need to provide safe ways for him to explore such as secure fields and long lines so he can run, sniff, and play to his heart’s content without getting into mischief.

Could you be Mulligan's perfect match?

Mulligan is a lively, energetic boy who will thrive with an active family that loves fun and adventure! He’s happiest when he’s out exploring and finds it hard to sit still, so he’s looking for a home that enjoys getting outdoors and making the most of nature together. As hounds can be a little mischievous, we recommend his new family do some breed research but rest assured, Mulligan will reward you with endless love, sloppy kisses, and plenty of laughs along the way!

Beagle Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Beagle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Beagle Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
