Say hello to the charming Benji!

This handsome gentleman has found his way into our care through no fault of his own and is gradually adjusting to life at the centre. Benji is an affectionate and gentle soul who likes attention and fuss from his favourite people.

Though he's a bit older, don’t be fooled—Benji still has a spring in his step! He loves his walks and enjoys exploring the world with his nose, before returning home for a cosy nap in his favourite spot or a snuggle on the sofa.

Benji has previously been housetrained and is content being left alone for short periods, though we recommend building this up slowly as he settles back into home life. He’s a bright boy with a real eagerness to please, so we’re confident he’ll slip back into a routine with ease.

Benji has lived with young children before, but has been a little overwhelmed since coming into kennels so we think he'd be happiest in a calm home with children aged 10+ who can understand when he needs a bit of quiet time.

We’re still learning about Benji’s interactions with other dogs, so for now, he’d prefer to be the only dog in the home. However, this may change as we get to know him better. He does have a history of living with cats, so a he could possibly live with one in his new home.
