About This Dog

Jasper's ideal home

Jasper is an older boy who is going to make a sweet companion. While we don't know if Jasper has ever been around children before we believe that he would be ok sharing a home with those of primary school age. He could also live with other dogs as long as they get on well during meets in centre. While we have no history of Jasper around cats, he does have the potential to live with them, pending successful scent swaps. This would be in a home that can take introductions gradually, with the ability to keep them separate at first. Jasper is overweight and is on a diet and exercise plan to help with this.

Could you be Jasper's perfect match?

Jasper is 7 years old and came into our care after being found as a stray. He’s a sweet, happy lad despite this, and can’t wait to find his new family. While we have no known home history for him he does try to keep his kennel clean and jumps straight into the backseat of a car, so there are signs it won’t be completely novel for him. Jasper should be fine being left home alone for a couple of hours too as he is quite content to do his own thing. As he’s a Beagle it should come as no surprise that Jasper loves food and sniffs. If Jasper is your favourite gem then add him as a favourite today.
