About This Dog for Adoption

Jasmine's ideal home

Jasmine is a 10 year old Beagle/Hound cross who is an absolutely sweetheart. She could share her new home with a calm dog of a similar age but would be just as happy on her own. Primary school aged children should be fine too, pending meets to see how she feels about them as she has never lived with children before. She travels well in the car but isn't a fan of going in a cage of any kind and uses a ramp brilliantly to make her way to the backseat. Jasmine isn't a fast walker at all and much prefers to get her nose to the ground to catch every sniff available. Due to Jasmine's selective hearing and interest in chasing small furry animals, she must be kept on a lead on a walk so she doesn't take herself off on her own adventure.

Could you be Jasmine's perfect match?

Jasmine is currently enjoying her time in one of our foster homes. She is a loving girl who enjoys a soft comfy bed and spending the majority of her time with her nose to the ground. If you're looking for a dog to cover loads of miles, Jasmine isn't the one. She will take her time to sniff every inch of her path and so walks on a lovely loose lead. In typical Hound fashion, she likes to make her feelings known with little howls and barks, in particular to alert you of any intruders. She's however a very friendly girl with everyone and visitors a greeted with lots of tail wags.
