Nancy's ideal home

Nancy is a 9 week old Beagle x Collie pup who is looking for her happy ever after. Nancy will need an active home where she can be kept busy both mentally and physically, with suitable training and maybe even a hobby like agility or scent work! She is a very intelligent, active dog and so needs a home who are experienced with these breeds. Nancy is also extremely cuddly, sweet and a big baby, she loves playing with other dogs and could live with another dog that could tolerate her playful, puppy ways and be a good mentor for her to follow and copy.

Nancy is a lovely little girl who could live with another dog or be the only dog in the home, she would like to be kept busy both physically and mentally as she is a very intelligent, active breed mixture! Any children would ideally be 12+ as Nancy is currently in her super crocodile phase of teething and we are working with her to channel this into appropriate objects like toys and teething items. With the correct guidance and training, Nancy is going to grow into a wonderful, intelligent, lovable companion but we want to do our very best by her and ensure we match her with a new human who is going to do all of the extra things that such a breed needs to keep her healthy and content.

Beagle Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Beagle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Beagle Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images
