Description

Jane's ideal home

Jane is lovely 1yr old Beagle who is showing lots of potential. She's a little shy initially but soon comes round with a little space and a few treats! She'll be fine to live with younger children who will enjoy a bubbly young dog in their lives. She's fine with other dogs out and about but really does prefer being a loner so will need to be the only dog in her home. Walking buddies should be fine though if introduced properly. She'll need someone around all the time initially to properly settle her into a new routine and a secure garden will be perfect for housetraining and generally putting her Beagle nose to good use!

Could you be Jane's perfect match?

Jane is a fabulous dog to be around and is showing a lot of interest in training tasks. She's got a good brain and is definitely keen to learn and being very foody (typical Beagle!) she'll be super easy to teach lots of fun tricks. She'll be perfect with an active family who plan to involve her in lots of fun adventures so add her to your favourites to see if you're the match she's looking for.

Beagle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Beagle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
