About This Dog for Adoption

Tilly's ideal home

Tilly is a delightful older lady who is looking for an adult only home with no visiting children. She is most comfortable when she can relax in her own space as she is very conflicted with handling, and doesn’t like to share her favourite things people. Tilly could live with a dog following a successful meet at the centre, she enjoys doggy company and loves going out for on-lead walks with calm four-legged friends. Her new family will need to visit her at the centre a few times, and have a chat with our behaviourists regarding Tilly’s behaviour before she can go home. Tilly is a cheeky, clever girl who loves her food and is looking for a quiet life with patient owners. She loves showing off her favourite tricks in return for a snack, and enjoys using her beagle nose to sniff out treats and explore nature! While she is an older girl she is still fairly active and would love a home where she can go out on lots of walks to keep her brain busy. Tilly was previously in a home and was housetrained and good to be left for a few hours, though this may all need refreshing as she settles into her new home.

Could you be Tilly's perfect match?

Unfortunately Tilly does have a life limiting medical condition which her forever family will need to be understanding of, for this reason we're looking for a home that can offer Tilly palliative care to make the time she has left everything she deserves. She isn't aware that isn't as spritely as she once was and this doesn't stop her from enjoying her walkies with all her friends (human and doggy) and always getting the comfiest nap spot!
