About This Puppy

This gorgeous girl is Luna, or known to her instagram followers as Luna Little Legs. She is a 6 month old black beagle cross frenchie, but is always mistaken for a lab! She has been with our family since 9 weeks old, but due to health issues, we no longer have the time for her. She was raised in a household with 4 children under 10 years, and is very good with them. Although excitable, she wouldnt hurt them and often climbs into my 8 month olds seat to sleep with her. She is microchipped and up to date with vaccinations, as well as wormed and flea treated. She has just had a 6 month review with the vet and is fit and healthy! At the moment, she spends her time outside in a large dog pen, coming out for 2 daily walks, and sleeps inside. She does still have occasional indoor accidents, but this is only occasional. She loves water and enjoys baths. She walks well on a lead, and is cautious of other dogs bigger than her, but is always friendly. She rarely pulls when on a retractable lead. We have not walked her without a lead. We are devastated to be having to let Luna go, but she deserves more time and more cuddles than we can currently give her. She will come with any remaining food, bowls, toys, bed etc. Any questions or messages are welcome.

Beagle Puppy Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Beagle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy without you viewing it first
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Beagle Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website
  • Seller asks you to send money to a bank account with a different name to the person you have been communicating with
  • The dog/puppy is advertised significantly cheaper than similar listings
