Hunter's ideal home
Meet the beautiful Hunter, a 9 year old Hound who is ready to find his paw-fect forever home! Hunter is a sweet lad who can sometimes lack in confidence but it doesn't take him long to make friends. Hunter has spent some time in a home previously where he has been mostly housetrained. Hunter can find being left home alone quite stressful and is looking for a home with patient adopters who can take things slow with him, gradually building up any time being left. Hunter is a friendly and social boy who enjoys playing with other dogs and we think it may benefit him to live with one in his new home, however this isn't essential providing he has opportunities for socialisation. Hunter has also lived with a cat previously with no issues and could do again following gradual introductions. Hunter loves his food and can do a beautiful "sit" and a double "paw", proving that age is just a number and he still loves to learn new things. We think Hunter could with children 11+ who are understanding of his worries and can give him any time and space he might need to settle in.

Hunter is a sweet boy, who puts smiles of the faces of all his carers. He has so much love to give and once comfortable is such an affectionate and gentle boy. He does have some ongoing medical needs that his new family will need to be aware off and our team here at the centre would be happy to discuss these needs with any potential adopters.
