About This Dog for Adoption

Winnie's ideal home

Winnie will require a private secure garden as she is nervous and will be a home and garden dog initially while she settles in. She can live with children of secondary school age who are sensible around nervous dogs and comfortable not to over-handle her. Winnie must live with another confident and established dog to help build her confidence and guide her, any males must be neutered. She would prefer a quiet home with minimal visitors. A home with experience of nervous dogs would be advantageous as she will require extensive desensitisation and socialisation. We are looking for a home committed to continuing this process.

Could you be Winnie's perfect match?

Meet Winnie-the-Pooch our 1-year-old Beagle with ears as floppy as Pooh’s tummy is round! Winnie has a heart full of love she is saving to share with someone special. Winnie is a very gentle and shy girl who craves a calm and patient home where she can finally feel safe and loved. Her personality shines through, and her confidence skyrockets when she’s with other dogs. She’s been incredibly playful with dogs here at the centre. Winnie would love to share her forever home with another dog who can guide and help build her confidence.
