Sally's ideal home

Sally is looking for a home where someone is home majority of the day whilst she settles in but can be left for a couple of hours at a time. She can live with children, cats and sociable calm neutered dogs. Super Sal is looking for an active home, she loves going out and exploring so someone who enjoys the great outdoors is a must. She settles well in the house and is easily pleased. Although Sally can live with other dogs, she would also be happy as the only dog as long as she would still regularly meet other dogs for interaction as she has a confident personality and enjoys spending time with people.

Sally is a 6 year old beagle who is looking for a forever home. She is currently in foster with Dogs Trust Cumbria. This gorgeous girl is very sociable with people and other dogs, she walks confidently on the lead, she very eager to please and an intelligent breed. She travels well in the car and has a very laid back personality. Sally has settled in well to her foster home and has been clean so far knowing to go outside for toileting. She adores company and prefers to be with her foster carer rather than on her own, a very happy go lucky personality who takes everything in her stride. Sally also travels well in the car. Sally has come into our care very overweight, her hind leg mobility appears to be affected due to excess weight gain, she has been placed on Metacam by the vet, which appears to be helping. It is likely she'll be on this for the rest of her life and will need to continue weight loss programme once adopted. She would also benefit from Hydrotherapy which Dogs Trust will look into and would support the adopter moving forward.
