About This Dog for Adoption

Maisie's ideal home

Maisie is a beautiful 7 year old Beagle who has found herself on the search for a forever home. Maisie likes to get out for her daily walks to have a good sniff at all of the interesting smells. She is a typical beagle, her nose is her super power! Enrichment toys that involve tasty treats are her favourite, such as snuffle mats or puzzle toys. Maisie is super friendly towards people, but she will be best suited to an adult only home as she can find it stressful when children are on her personal space. She is looking for a home without any pets, as she would just love to be the centre of attention. She is very fond of getting a good fuss, and will often keep offering you her paw if you stop petting her!

Could you be Maisie's perfect match?

Maisie's adopters should be able to be at home with her to begin with while she gets settled in, and after this leaving time can be gradually increased. She likes to take it easy in life, so an adopter that enjoys daily strolls, playtime in the garden, and a snuggle on the sofa in the evening, will be the pawfect match for Maisie. Oh, and if you have some tasty treats in your pocket, you'll have a best friend for life!
If you are interested in adopting Maisie, please submit an adoption application and include her as one of your 'Favourite' dogs. Thank you!

Beagle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Beagle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Beagle Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
