Abel's ideal home
Meet adorable little Abel who has come into our care with limited history. What we do know is that he has had quite limited experience of the world so is looking for a patient forever family that can teach him all he needs to know. This will include things such as learning to walk on the lead, housetraining and learning how to spend time home alone which we recommend is built up gradually. Abel loves to sniff and explore and will need his own safe and secure garden with direct access from the house where he can safely play and explore at his own pace. He's been learning to make new friends here at the centre and we think he could live with another calm and confident dog who could show him the ropes. Abel could live with children of 11+ who can understand that he can be a worried soul at times and be able to give him any space he might need. Despite his worries, Abel enjoys the company of people and often tries to get as much fuss from his carers as possible and loves to curl up into your lap for all the attention!

Abel is a sweet boy and we're sure it wont be long until he's up to beagle mischief! We recommend that new owners research the breed and their traits as they can be very active dogs who love to be on the go. Once he's found his paws, Abel will likely love to go on adventures and do lots of exploring with his new family.
