We have just lost our beloved beagle Derek. He was such a character and a massive part of our family. We no longer hear the aaarooooo’s or the excitable noises when we see him. The hair all over the floor as soon as you hoovered is not replaced..
Derek was almost 9 but we had a wonderful almost 9 years with him. Such fond memories and we laugh and cry. We are hoping to find another beagle -tri coloured and a male ideally a puppy or less than a year old.
He won’t replace Derek as he was one of a kind but he will bring a healing to us all and we will tell him all about his big brother Derek who ate my plants and stole our socks the list goes on.
