About This Dog for Adoption

Nev's ideal home

If you're looking for a very energetic dog and fancy learning some great dog training techniques from us then meet Nev. He's a 2yr old Beagle Spaniel Crossbreed, as you'd expect from his breed, he likes to be kept busy! He'll be fine with older kids who are confident around busy, bouncy dogs. He's learning how to get along with other dogs, and doing great, but for now will need to be the only pet in his home so he can focus on settling in properly. A very secure garden is a must as he likes to play off-lead and if he spots a gap he'll be off to explore the much wider world!

Could you be Nev's perfect match?

Nev is a cracking lad with so much potential. He'll need his new family to give him plenty of time and attention and help keep him on the right tracks with basic training and plenty of exercise. He won't be able to be left initially so someone will need to be around all the time until he's ready to slowly build up any short periods alone. Once he's settled you'll see the fun, playful and very interactive dog he is.

Beagle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Beagle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 8 weeks, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped
  • Review and verify any documents, such as KC registration paperwork where applicable

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".
  • Seller asks to immediately switch to communication off the Beagle Owners website
  • Seller uses a different phone number to the one listed on the website - especially if that phone number is in one of the advert images

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
