Sooty

Glasgow, Scotland3 weeks

Description

Sooty's ideal home

Sweet Sooty is a 4 year old Crossbreed who has found himself in our care after being found as a stray so we have very limited information about him. Sooty is looking to have direct access into a garden that has a 5ft (minimum) fence where he can continue his training, and run around care free! This handsome lad is hoping to find a patient family who can help show him the ropes of living in a home, and work on his basic training, which may include house-training and being left home alone.

Could you be Sooty's perfect match?

Sooty can be a sociable guy, but at the moment would be best suited to a home where he is the only pet as he can be quite OTT at times. He would be happy to share his home with children aged around 14 years and over too. Sooty would love to find someone who will be home for most of the day but he could be left for up to 3-4 hours by himself, as long as this is gradually built up over time. He is a wee sweetheart who is looking for his perfect match to help bring him out of his shell and thrive!

Beagle Buying Checklist

We highly recommend every buyer reads through the below advice when purchasing or rehoming a Beagle.

  • View the animal in the place it was born and raised - check for genuine home environments if buying privately, or the quality of the breeders set-up if applicable.
  • If viewing a puppy under 6 months, by law they MUST be seen with their mum.
  • Make sure the animal's old enough to be rehomed. 8 weeks should be the earliest a puppy can be rehomed.
  • By law, all dogs MUST be microchipped

Avoid Potential Scams

There are a number of red flags to look out for when purchasing a new puppy:

  • Seller demands a deposit without allowing you to see the dog first - never send any money before meeting the animal in person
  • Seller is reluctant to send you additional photos or videos
  • Seller offers to deliver the dog/puppy
  • Seller asks to meet in a mutual location
  • Seller uses fake or stolen photos from the internet. Always carry out a "Google image search".

Although we have a number of automated systems in place to prevent scam and fraudulant adverts, these can never be 100% accurate and its important to use caution when buying online. We do not accept any responsibility for transactions between our users, especially when our safe buying advice is not followed.
